Treatment Covered by Medicare
I went through the treatment a couple of years ago involving the Rebuilder and infrared light treatment. My excruciating pins and needles pain did go away... as a result of the treatment I'm not sure. That was $6,000 right out of the gate. Replacing supplements was also very expensive. Numbness from the knees down remained and has gotten worse. If I do nothing I see a wheelchair in my future. Meantime there was a heart attack and pacemaker which meant no more rebuilder.
I mentioned neuropathy to an x-ray tech and she told me about this place where her daughter had just started working. New Promise Neuropathy has several locations in Texas. Their treatment involves some electrical stimulation using RegenWave machine and two shots in each knee. The treatment is only 20 minutes and I can go as many times during the week as I want. And....drumroll....medicare covers it and it's FDA approved. I've got nothing to lose. For the electrical stimulus (20 minutes) large pads are placed on the calf and along the bottom of the foot...concentrated on the calf area far from my pacemaker. I do not know if they are expanding to other states but they are here, they are covered, and I'm going for it!
