UTI's are the worst for me. My wife has had 2 in the last 6 months. I was told that people with her condition even with the best care, might have 1-3 UTI's a year. They just add more stress for both her and me. Trips to the doc, more pills. Constantly pushing water and fluids is something she just finally objects to. Everytime we go by the sink I grab water..

For the life of me, I don’t understand why physicians don’t recommend the over the counter supplement called D-mannose. Made from cranberries. Prevents the uti bacteria from ‘sticking’ to the bladder wall. I’ve taken it daily for years and only get a very occasional uti. If I get one, I do take antibiotics which everyone knows are not great for your microbiome, but sometimes necessary to clear infection. Get D-mannose at any vitamin shop or Amazon. PLEASE!!!!! Pill form or powder.
