What’s on your bucket list?

Whole life has been directed by low self esteem and as a result have achieved self worth by caring for others. Being diagnosed with breast cancer and experiencing the procedures needed to reach cancer free in four months has been exhausting. My husband has stage 4 copd and as result there has been no break to really absorb what’s happened to me. My goal is to try and digest and realize I can move forward. My bucket list right now is trying to think of an idea.

@meetoo2, what a great articulation of your path to moving forward. That in itself is a good bucket item to start with. I like that you recognize that it is time to honor you and to try to digest what YOU have been through. I suspect that journey will have hills and valleys, but will be worth the time and effort.

You also don't have to do it alone. There may be services available to you where you received your cancer care, like a hospital chaplain or oncology social worker.

Might that be helpful for you and possible with your caregiving duties?
