Your results may vary.

Some people have urinary problems and rectal problems, Some people don’t. A very small minority Have bladder problems.

Your PSA may not go down immediately after radiation. The cells die off when they try to split to make more. Some people can take a few months watching their PSA go down and maybe up a little and back down. Some people wait a year or two or even more before it hits bottom. That’s not too normal For it to take that long..

The shots are probably ADT, which will make your desire to have sex almost disappear. You should be able to still get an erection for a while, Maybe a few years even, But with the shot that becomes a little more difficult Since you have a little desire.

The shots will also caused you to have hot flashes, will weaken your muscles Considerably and will cause your bones to weaken, Make sure to have a DEXA scan before you wait too long to find out your bone strength/condition now.

Not knowing anything about your diagnosis, makes it difficult to say much more.

Did you get a decipher test to find out what your chance of reoccurrence is?

@country768 Monitoring, I think -Watching your PSA (one hopes)
decrease to its "nadir" and monitoring for biochemical recurrence
