Any one have had a humerus replacement?

Hello, I see this post is a little dated, but id like to know about the rod they replaced your humorous with. I shattered my left humorous when I rolled my truck and found the only tree in a field to smash my driver's side door into. Total of 10 surgeries, they took my left fibula and placed it in middle of my humorous with a nice hefty plate for support. THAT, I broke 3 screws to in my elbow and we'll, its been like that for a min. I've asked about options but it really seams like shoving other people's bones in my arm is not the answer. Been there done that and it didn't take. Why is loosing my arm the option. Why are we not 3D printing bones yet. Lol. Anyways, id like to know more about the hardware you have, whats your arm use like. Not at all, minimal, 70%. Is this an option you feel good with?

Hello. Sorry to hear of your accident. I had my humerus replaced with Equinoxe Humerus Relacement Prothesis. You can look it up on Google. As far as the use of my arm is somewhat limited. I can lift my arm over my head a little bit, but I can't use it when I do. Can't fix my hair, can get my arm up to my mouth some, but at least I have my arm! Hope I answered your questions, but if you want further information I would be glad to answer anything you want.
