@peterj116 God I sure hope so....2 questions for you - My husband has had 2 hernia surgeries - does that interfere with the placement of the device? Also, will he need home health care after the surgery to deal with incisions etc.?

@mirsy I can't see any references online to AUS placement complicated by hernia surgeries.
The device can be place on the left or the right. Mine was placed on the right due to varicose veins on the left.

Home health care.... that's you.
No special help needed. The incisions look & feel pretty awful. But they do flatten out and calm down in time.
He'll need help in & out of the shower - and getting dry and dressed for the first week or so.
But apart from that... all of his favourite foods and lots of TV/YouTube.
