Yes, the longer you cook tomatoes the more lycopene is available for absorption : ))). Broccoli and all other plants from Brassica genus are better eaten raw. I recently watched interview with Mayo oncologist mentioning this fact also. So, just sprinkle some mustard seeds on top of your meal - they have very mild taste. : ))) Bon appetit !!!

@jeffmarc Yes, roasted broccoli is delicious. I always hated steamed broccoli (which smells like a public washroom to my nose; probably some genetic thing), but roasting it in the oven or grilling over a BBQ is magical.
Ditto for Brussels sprouts.
Boiled/steamed = 🤢
Roasted = 😋
