My husband had brachytherapy and external radiation for prostate cancer. After 4 TURP procedures he became incontinent and had so much pain in groin and hips he could not walk. Turns out radiation had eroded his pelvic bone and he was finally diagnosed at Mayo with osteitis pubis after year of seeing several doctors. Will be having surgery in a few weeks

@hrshow I am so sorry to hear about your husband. The pain is not something to laugh at. I am not scheduled for any TURP sessions yet. I am managing the prostate inflamation with medication and T-therapy. I'm hoping to get better use of my hips with a bit of exercise.
Thanks for the input. Ricardo.
