@skypledger - thanks for clarifying your diagnosis as irritable bowel disease - Crohn's. Being stressed and not having any bowel relief sounds quite unpleasant.

I'm tagging a few Mayo Clinic Connect members who may have familiarity with Crohn's and/or with constipation who may have some suggestions for you to get some relief @sickofbeinsick1 @gshlager @brendaharvey @sandyjr @marion49 @gshlager. I'd also like to invite @hopeful33250 into this conversation.

skypledger - have you found any differences in your bowel habits with what you have for breakfast or with which and how much liquid you intake?

@lisalucier Yes, I have noticed if I have either oatmeal cooked with extra liquid or Fiber One cereal with a lot of fruit, that I have better results. I take Trulance when I first get up with a glass of water. Then coffee. Then breakfast. Any variation such as morning appointments throws everything off and increases constipation. This is very limiting. I also take MiraLAX in the late afternoon. I also have diverticulosis throughout my large intestine.

@lisalucier Thank you for replying. I have Inflammatory Bowel Disease ( Crohn’s) with diverticulosis.
