RP 5 weeks ago. No pain afterwards and didnt take a single painkiller. Stayed in only 1 night.
Incontinence : fee flow at first after catheter out but now down to dry nights and 1 pad for the day. Just need a sleep after lunch to help this process.
As others state its diffetent for all. Helps to stay or get fit before by lots of walking and healthy eating. Veg based diet better with lots og fruit. Good luck.!

@risa6069

Thank you! I’m glad your surgery went well, with no pain afterwards. That is wonderful.
May I ask your age? My hubby is 72, will turn 73 a month after surgery. Older patients don’t bounce back as quickly, but we are hoping for the best.

Hubby is being is discharged the same day. I think that is a little early, but that’s the plan per the urologist.

Was the RASP to address BPH only, or do you have PCa, and have radiation scheduled?

Thank you,
Lizzie
