@skyhollow - To be honest, I only wear these to bed because they're rather thick (perfect for keeping my feet warm). Since they're thick, you should be able to wear them without slippage. I also have low volume feet with no instep, so I understand your concern. Give them a try and if they don't work in your shoes, you can wear them to bed or just for lounging.
