Hello @maf2017 wow that is scary, and it sounds like @shmerdloff is right about the PTSD. I can’t imagine that I would not have nightmares from this as well. I know it is hard to internalize that all of those restraints were to keep you safe from falling etc.
This was a possible side effect of the chemo I was given so I read a lot about it. Boy, our brain sure can play tricks on us, these are not harmless pranks. Brain swelling is serious business, and you are very lucky. I bet your husband and daughter were terrified.
A therapist might be able to help you take the fear out of what happened.
Do you have the ability to see a therapist?
