Has anyone had a successful hip revision surgery?

My 1st THA left me with Meralgia Paresthetica (nerve damage) unable to lift leg and groin pain so that surgeon referred me to Mayo FL which did a tenonomy and hip revision that was of no help and a very difficult recovery. Continuing to seek help 28 months later.

Hi. I've been going through the same. I've had iliopsoas impingement due to a THA that was not positioned correctly. I haven't been able to lift my leg without pain for 14 years and I've decided to consider a revision. I've recently seen two surgeons experienced in revisions, but neither one seems very confident that I will see relief. I just can't decide what to do at this point.
