@bweaver2025 if you are able to eat solid foods, there are many ways to get protein- even gentle ways like scrambled eggs, yogurt, simply cooked fish and poultry..making sure each meal has some protein…it helps to always have some carbs, and fats like olive oil…the protein-carb-fat trifecta is what my docs prescribed for weight gain…fiber as soon as I could, gently at first and now I eat any fiber. .. small meals and snacks …and while I watched sugar and fat consumption, I gained enough to regain strength. More exercise increased appetite.

@nycmusic oh, yes—avocados are excellent soft, nutritious food.
