I had Iovera treatment 2 weeks before surgery. The treatment itself was very painful and pain increased for the entire two hour drive home. One injection below knee, 3 along side Patella and two above. Post surgery it was determined that i had nerve pain and pain levels were 7-8. I am 11 weeks out from surgery and still suffering from nerve pain. I believe that i would not be in this situation if i had not had the Iovera treatment. Iovera advertises this as not painful treatment.
