Nervive…anyone using?

Posted by uma1 @uma1, Jul 4 7:45pm

I’m wondering if anyone is using Nervive? It’s B vitamins and ALA. I’m just cautious and don’t want it to interact with anti anxiety meds I’m on.

@eloise999 I ordered those barefoot shoes, but returned as they weren’t wide enough to get my foot into. If you have neuropathy in your feet you need a wide toe area and have to be able to slide your foot into the shoes. These were not for me….was so disappointed.

@jchet I have many pairs of barefoot shoes and find the toe boxes very generous - it might be worth looking at different brands. I started with more expensive ones but have found some pretty cheap ones that are equally good (for me)

I have been using nervier for about a month. Not sure yet if it helps but my pc doc wanted me to take lots of B vitamins so since that’s beehive, I figure it can’t hurt to keep taking it for awhile longer. I am on anti-anxiety meds and it doesn’t seem to be affected. Wish I could be of more help…

Nervive, not nervier!

Has anyone used a cream such as Nervive on their feet for pain? I bought it but I am a little afraid to use it. I am in early neuropathy right now so I do not suffer any of the advanced symptoms but I can tell you the pain in my feet is often pretty uncomfortable and has altered my life a great deal. I am 75 years old and trying to remain active but after my daily walk I am pretty much on the couch icing my feet. My feet cannot stand being constricted in supportive sneakers during walk.
Also has anyone tried Kuru footwear? I need a lot of cushioning. Thank you.

Same age and situation. No luck with nervive lotion. Same experience with shoes too. I don't tie sneakers and get around a little. Have started ordering a full size longer and max width. Hoka offers the most cushy sole in some of their smmodels that I've found. Have to read in depth which particular models. It does help. Good luck.

I wear Hoka wides and they are plenty wide. I wear the Hoka Arahi because it's a stability sneaker.

Can you tell me where you purchased your wide toe “barefoot” shoes? Thanks.

@jchet I have some from Leguano ($$$), some frome Hike as well as some others from Amazon and Temu (cheap and still effective). I don't think this is the brand I have but most of the ones I have look like this https://a.co/d/13h4OFL

No...for 6 months. The only thing that has helped me is a prescribed supplement (Podiatrist who sees many diabetic patients with neuropathy ). EB-N6. Comes from a pharmacy in Fl. And calcium glycinate at night for cramping. Tough...i tried so many different supplements. Also I don't have diabetic neuropathy...mine is typical idiopathic small axon peripheral neuropathy. May have been caused by Hydroychloroquine use for 10 years. Best of luck.

Do you find that taking magnesium glycinate for leg cramping always keeps them at bay, or is it hit or miss?
Thank you. Trish

@trishdub
I still get an occasional leg cramps during the night. Frankly I only take the mag glycinate to aid in my sleep - I had no idea they were to assist with leg cramps.
