My husband has numbness in is feet from spine surgery (3-2024). He says it is improving! States feet feel like they are sleeping all the time and gets worse as the day goes on! He is walking with a cane when we leave the house. Dr said can improve up to 5 years! Anything we can do to help this healing process along?

Hello @itlooksunny, Actually I think one of the things a lot of us with neuropathy don't focus enough on (including me!) has to do with a healthy lifestyle. The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has a lot of great suggestions if you haven't seen them or are already doing them - https://www.foundationforpn.org/lifestyles/.

@itlooksunny ..Just a suggestion....I have suffered from severe Trigeminal nerve
pain (side of face) caused by a dentist. I have discovered thru my own researching on the Mayo Clinic site, a non-invasive nerve pain procedure called the Scrambler Technique. It actually scrambles the signal from the brain for pain...it's especially good for Neurpathy pain problems. I found a small clinic in Clifton, N.J. (CalmareTherapy) that I went to for treatment....there are also other clinics around the country that specialize in this treatment...it's 10 sessions..each session is about 30-40 minutes and totally not painful....check it out...I have now been pain free for about 6 weeks now....
