Post-Chemotherapy Symptoms

Posted by margitdill @margitdill, 3 days ago

I’ve been on 6 different chemo drugs for over 2 years. I just finished 10 sessions of radiation to my lower spine due to a metastasis there. At present I am off chemotherapy because there are no more chemo options left. My last infusion was 4 weeks ago; radiation finished up 2 weeks ago. I feel like I’ve been hit with a sort of “treatment or chemo withdrawal.” Extreme fatigue, weakness, clammy skin at times, crying jags, overall flu-like feelings - these are my main symptoms. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions or treatments that might help? Thank you.

@margitdill I had mine removed due to cancer. I'm on levothyroxine. My levels change from time to time for unknown reasons. So my dosage goes up and down. Your symptoms seemed familiar to me.
