You need to go to a neurologist that prescribes and administers Botox for headaches. I am in San Diego and go to Scripps headache clinic. The injections given once every 3 months and covered by insurance will completely (or almost completely) eliminate your migraine. I have been doing this for 3 years now and no longer have migraines.

@adam08 I live in NYC and my Neurologist at the Cornel Weil Hospital has started me on the Botox plan.....I have just had my Second Round. I suffer from a rare type of headache called Hypnic Headaches.....they only come when you are sleeping. usually about two hours after you are in your REM stage....no one knows why they occur other than something wrong with the hypothalamus gland...My first round of Botox wasn't very successful but have been told to hang in there and that it gets better with every round....glad to read Botox has been successful. My second round has been much more successful.
