What are other survivors doing about pancreatic enzymes replacement?
I am a 4 year survivor of pancreatic cancer. I have been on creon since my Whipple. It is very expensive. I talked to someone who was using Pure Encapsulation instead of creon. The formula doesn't match my creon, but it is about 1/4 the cost of the co-play on creon. What are other survivors doing about pancreatic enzymes replacement?

My surgeon signed me up for free creon. Check Abbvie.com and they will send you an application. I was approved once I turned in my application and my surgeon did the same. The creon is mailed to be.

Ask your doctor/oncologist office. That's where I got my abbvie form. I am getting it free via mail. They even filled out the form for me. All I had to do was sign it.

Mine started with digestive c problems then eating problems then 30 pounds weight loss. I was finally sent to a surgeon in Dallas and he had mri's done then in ultrasound upper GI and it showed cancer in the bile duct of my pancreas. It has been 2 months since my surgery and am taking creon for the enzymes.

2 ReactionsHas anyone taking Creon had issues with gout while taking it? It is said that Creon may increase uric acid levels...
