I had a RNY 9/30/2020 but before that I was diagnosed with fibro, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and issues with my spine. I am in constant pain. I am taking muscle relaxers and gapapentin in liquid form. I did schedule an appt with my pain management doctors but I’m not sure what to do. I know they won’t give me any opioids or stronger pain meds.

@maliakajeme I read your other post. it seems like most of us are going through a lot of things with our bodies at once. I hope you find answers that will help you get relief from your pain.

Oh @maliakajeme, how I do sympathize with your pain! Though I moderate this group, I had a Roux N Y in 2007 and went through the exact same thing that it sounds like you are experiencing. I think a lot of it has to do with the actual procedure. I have linked up with several patients that have had it and experience severe pain that was approached with pain medication and muscle relaxers.

May I ask, did you have a laparoscopic or open operation?
