Hello and welcome to Mayo Connect.

This site is people to Connect and discuss with others.. and they do not have to be Mayo Clinic patients... medical conditions that we have in common. We try to help each other handle our situations. Sharing experiences we can gain knowledge and ideas on what to ask our care teams (personal care physicians and specialty physicians, NPs and PAs that participate in our care).

Everyone is different. Some medications work for one person and not another. Others can suggest things you never thought of to handle your pain or how to handle a doctor or test, etc. Sometimes other's input makes us realize we need to be seeing a different doctor. .. a specialist maybe.

There are no Mayo doctors monitoring this site that I know about. You can call and make an appointment or look through the pages Amanda has posted.
