Has anyone had their home water supply tested for MAC/NTM ?

I have read about cleaning the shower head with bleach. I was just diagnosed with MAC. So much information and it seems the infectious disease doctor only want to treat the infection.
Anyone have any advice or tips to cut down on the possibility of reinfection.

@twinn52 welcome to our helpful and caring group. I’m sorry about your new diagnosis of MAC. I don’t have it , but was told I probably did for several months. As you said, there’s a lot of info.
