Anyone had breast tumor invade the chest wall muscle?

Yes. I have invasive lobular ER/PR+HER2-. I was stage 2 when discovered and it was infiltrating the pectoral muscle. I did 6 months neo-adjuvant therapy with Letrozole . Shrunk it about 40% and pulled it away from the muscle. During surgery the Dr. took the area of the muscle as one of the margins, and it was clear. Did radiation, still on Letrozole.

@sagey, sounds like your cancer responds well to Letrozole and that it helped the surgery be successful. How long will you be on Letrozole after surgery?
