These comments are very helpful. 58 yo with severe osteoporosis. I was worried when I found out about the cardiac side effects from Evenity but since I have no cardiac issues I think I will be ok. Just waiting to see if it's covered by insurance. Most posts are positive with no real side effects-very encouraging. My rheumatologist also told me that I will have to follow up with a 5 yr medication. She does not recommend prolia and I don't think I would want that after reading about it.
I am also going to begin hrt. I'm about 6 years post menopausal but they don't seem worried. I am deciding about the testosterone pellets or cream right now. Any advice on that?

I like the pellet approach. More convenient than patches and compounded creams.
I have a estradiol testosterone pellet inserted every 12 weeks. Medicare does not pay for that part of my bhrt and it is $375 each time. They do pay for my provider visits, progesterone and estradiol vaginal cream as well as blood tests.
