I have lichen planus. I took methotrexate for 2 Mos and took myself off. I've never had a medicine affect me so adversely. I was so tired all the time I could barely get up and down. On top of that I had nausea so badly I couldn't eat or drink. I stopped taking it and my life went back to normal. I've used every cream and now I'm on an ointment called desoximetasone. It is wonderful. I have oral and vaginally lichen plants. This med is for vaginally. I was at the end of my rope before doctor at UNC prescribed it. I also took folic acid with the methotrexate.
