Thanks for saying u have been a good runner. Impact on cartilage squeezes out old cells. I have taken vit D suppl and or did plenty of sun bathing. I think high vit D saved my knees. Sad that u have pain.

Oh, yes, that ol' cartilage squeeze! I'm sure familiar with that. I had four or scopes done to my knee, before the TKR, because of diminished cartilage. As for Vit D – I still take a Vit D3 supplement.
