That’s what I was told too. Having problem with Tymlos pre authorization from doctors staff. The insurance said they have sent several requests and not received a response…we went to the doctors office directly instead of calling and played the recording of the insurance rep saying we requested PA but have received anything from your doctor so you were denied. The doctors staff says they sent in the PA.
So the diisays you could always go on Prolia instead it’s authorized under part b. Makes no sense not to use a bone builder first. Exasperated…

@osteopatient2026 I had a similar problem, and it was as simple as the doctor not having the correct fax number. Call the insurer and have them confirm the correct fax number and even the "attention to" name, then check with your doctor. Also, in my case, there was a different fax number for anything related to Medicare authorizations.
