I’m anxious for PT to start. Doctor said I need to wait 6 weeks post op for outpatient PT. I’m seeing his PA in a couple of days, maybe he’ll prescribe PT earlier.

@pikemike I had l5-s1 with a disc replacement and they said I would have no PT. I am 6 month last week and doing great. Their thinking is everyday use and walking is enough PT. Now what I am looking forward to is light weights but sounds like that will be at the one year mark. Research has me seeing people that had this done with a orthopedic surgeon instead of a Neurosurgeon are put in the PT for make more money using their Physical Therapist.
