Skin problem and blow outs on bag edge

@lrandall51 wear a belt always. I actually did a survey on Ostomy Canada Society and received dozens of replies. The result was a split right down the middle. For me it adds to my sense of security and ties it all together. (Except that sometimes I wake up and stand up and the thing simply falls off.)

I have no name for my pouch either although to me it's a pouch...never a bag. Bag makes it sound so déclassé. LOL.

@piki hi…I guess there is a diff connotation between bag and pouch…nicer sounding although I refer to myself as a professional bag lady…I use the Hollister 8931 bag with little problem other than pancaking occasionally blow out the side…my underwear holds my bag just in the right place. It’s all just a nuisance but because I had stricture in the colon I decided it was time. Diagnosed with anal cancer in 2008 and my biggest problem is my over radiated skin. I can’t get it healed…prob never will. Laurie
