GLP-1 agonists (Ozempic, etc.) to treat long-COVID?

I have not heard of treating Long Covid with these GLP-1 drugs. I have Long Covid and my husband is taking Wegovy for weight loss. I would be interested in hearing what this type of medication can do for us?

It makes sense it would have some benefits, it helps with inflammation.
@lkirnbauer I have had long covid for 3 years..excess fatigue. Shortness of breath.brain fog and more. I have been on Ozempic 4 years for type 2 diabetes..no help at all for long covid....
@lkirnbauer I have long Covid and started taking Wegovy. IT HELPS. There are days when it doesn't seem to do as much, but I am easily 80% better than I was before I started taking it. I take it on Friday night. Feel tired Saturday, then Sunday I could run a marathon, Monday a half marathon, Tuesday and Wednesday I feel normal (like before long covid) Thursday and Friday I feel it wearing off.. one of my "symptoms" is my teeth hurt.. when I take a shot Friday night, they don't usually hurt till Thursday. It reduces inflammation which is at the root of what most of us are experiencing. You can get coupons for it online.

@lkirnbauer I’m on Zepbound for weight loss. I feel that’s it’s helping with inflammation because I’ve generally felt better since taking it.
