Sores that take longer to heal
I've noticed I've got some sores on my hand that seem like they won't ever heal. I was told that it's because of my immune system.

Have you had chemo? I had 10 rounds and my skin is still very fragile after more than 2 years.

chemotherapy can cause cuts to heal slower by weakening the immune system, impairing cell proliferation and collagen production, and interfering with the body's repair processes. The drugs target rapidly dividing cells, which includes the cells needed for wound healing, and can also decrease the number of immune cells like neutrophils and macrophages that fight infection and clear debris from a wound.
