If you have a Gleason seven Or eight And they do or don’t find other things in your biopsy then getting a decipher score can give you a good idea about what’s going to happen with your prostate cancer future. Whether or not a reoccurrence is probable to happen.

If you have a lot of aggressive things in your biopsy it may not make sense to do, since it’s probably going to come back anyway.

If you are a Gleason 9 or 10 then a reoccurrence is probably going to happen, so the decipher score isn’t really as relevant.

@service1010 I cannot comment. I didn’t have one since with a 4+4, it would not affect my treatment decision. And I’m sorry, I therefore never learned much about it. Silly, really with a career in AI.
