Welcome @tsinnc, It's been quite a few years since I got a referral from my Mayo Family Clinic primary care doc for an appointment with a neurologist but it did take a few months to get the appointment due to the number of appointment requests being handled and I'm sure that there are more requests than available appointments now. It has been a lot longer than the expected 7 to 10 business days since they were supposed to call so if it were me I would try calling them to see if there has been an update or any openings.

Thank you! My current neurologists are referring me there for diagnosis and a treatment plan because diagnosis has been elusive and I’ve seen everyone good here (Duke.)

I called in Friday to check in, and they said they sent me and email on 11/12 with some follow up questions, but I combed through all of my email folders and there was no email from them. Fortunately I called, and was able to answer the questions they had. Now I guess I wait some more; not sure how long because they didn’t give me a timeframe this time.

It concerns me that I was unable to locate the email they said they sent. I logged into my patient portal to verify my email address on file, and it was correct. There was nothing in Spam, Trash, or my Inbox, so I don’t know that they actually sent it, or that it went to the wrong address somehow.

I think I’ll just check in again at the end of each week if I don’t hear from them, and pray not to get the denial letter in the meantime.
