@mamabear77 I had no idea that was even a side effect (doc never mentioned it) until I saw others here talk about it. The first side effect I noticed was severe head aches, but that went away after 2 or 3 weeks. The leg pain I endured for about a month I think. I couldn't get comfortable either, I was basically writhing in bed because my legs hurt so much. I felt so much better when I stopped, no more leg aches and I realized how tired and overall bleh I had been feeling for three months. This medicine has to be pretty serious to cause so many serious side effects. I am probably being foolish going off all medication, but I hate the idea of going back on.

I tried Tymlos (starting in July 2025) but consistently had headaches and my heart rate went up to 90-over 100 BPM for at least 1-1/2 hours after taking the medicine. I’d still wake up with the headaches as well. I went down to 2 clicks to see if the side effects would subside but they didn’t.
I ended up stopping Tymlos after 5 weeks of the consistent headaches and elevated heart rate. I am 66 years old and have severe osteoporosis in my spine but the side effects were too severe.
I changed over to Evenity and have had 2 months of shots already with no side effects. So far I am much happier with Evenity.
