@nannybb I have lived in the desert in Arizona for 30 years. It is pretty common here. I just got back from a couple mile hike in it with my dog actually. It showed up in my most recent scans about two months ago. I already have/had most of the symptoms from my cancer and chemo. I haven't really noticed any changes. I did have pneumonia about eight years ago. Scarring from it shows up in my scans. So, it was kind of funny when the valley fever showed up on my most recent scans. I also have to see the dermatologist tomorrow. I have had a lot of basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas over the years. I have known the dermatologist for over 20 years. He says that he shows his love for me by removing skin cancer from my body. He loved me a lot a year ago with five biopsies and two Mohs procedures. I am hoping to avoid any new skin divots tomorrow. We will see.
