Same age and situation. No luck with nervive lotion. Same experience with shoes too. I don't tie sneakers and get around a little. Have started ordering a full size longer and max width. Hoka offers the most cushy sole in some of their smmodels that I've found. Have to read in depth which particular models. It does help. Good luck.
