From personal observation, the provider may indicate tests (laboratory, x rays, and others) in the portal ( or your MyChart), and if you look carefully you may see them. "You can now view details of.... " I had to ask about this information, apparently the intent is to communicate tests to be done at Mayo Clinic.

@emhamilton825 They may do it differently for GI than they did for cardiology. In my case, the diagnosis was done locally after my primary physician scheduled an echo cardiogram. That was what the triage team reviewed. Once they scheduled the appointment with the Mayo cardiologist that is when all the tests were scheduled to occur earlier in the day of that appointment so he could give me my options.
