I was on Rosuvastatin 5mg, they raised it to 10 mg, my ALT rose to 119, took it back down to 5mg, ALT came down but not with in normal range. New doctor's did bloodwork to test Lipoprotein and Apolipoprotein and decided to take me off statins. He put me on Repatha 140mg Injector every 14 days, my Lipoprotein(a) 199 to 104. Apolipoprotein B 129 to 90 and total cholesterol dropped. My ALT is now 29. numbers were after three doses of Repatha.

I was started on Rosuvastatin 20 mg 2 months ago and recently started having abdominal pain. My labs came back with a sightly elevated AST, ALT, and creatinine. I have an appt. with my GI doc soon, but I wonder now if the elevated results and abd pain are due to the statin. Thoughts?
