So sorry she is experiencing this. I get migraines frequently which I control with Botox every 3 months, Aimovig injections once per month and Ubrelvy as needed for breakthrough headaches. Mine are caused by cervical dystonia - which is chronic muscle spasms of my neck and upper back. It used to be called occipital outlet syndrome - there bundles of nerves that leave the spine and go through notches in the skull up to the brain. When all the muscles in that region are in spasm, they compress those nerves which fires off the migraines - and can also trigger numbness or tingling in the extremities. It could be that this is what your daughter is experiencing.

@mbixler I am also on Ubrelvy but I am very interested in the neck spasms you mentioned. Who diagnosed this? The reason I ask is I just came from my osteopath who is addressing my neck issues in relation to my headaches and migraines. I too, have the tingling sensations from time to time. Im just not sure if I’m seeing the right people to address the problem.
