Thank you Kathy. Have you had a PET scan? The reason my Dr. suggested it was because it would show if anything was going on with the Lymph nodes, where the bronchoscopy wouldn't. Prayers for you too. Thanks for caring.

@bbeers Oh, that makes sense. Sounds like you have a good doctor. Yes, I had a PET Scan but not recently. It was over 20 years ago. The Pulm Dr I saw ordered the PET and even before the results, sent me to a thoracic surgeon. Fortunately, I was seen at NJH before I saw a surgeon (can you imagine?). The doctor at NJH told me he was 99.99% sure that I had an infection. He told me: "you have hundreds of nodules, and you wouldn't be walking if it was cancer". He was a smart guy and since retired. It took me 3.5 years of anti-biotics and 5 years in all before I started feeling better. Then last year, the MABC diagnosis and now the new nodule. It's been a journey-like all of us.
