Hi @royanthony- really sorry to hear your stepdaughter experienced seizures and you found her on her closet floor. Scary.
I have a few questions for you so that I and other members can better understand what has happened with your stepdaughter, if you don't mind:
- I'm wondering if you'd share more about what weight loss shot she was taking?
- Did the doctor who prescribed this medication believe the seizure activity was correlated with the weight loss shots?
- Did this doctor tell your stepdaughter to stop taking the weight loss medication?
- Did she end up seeing a neurologist? If so, what did that doctor say about her seizures, causation and what to do next?

@lisalucier Thanks for your compassion and the questions. She did see a neurologist. He or she was the one who prescribed the Topo. I'll speak with her and get the remaining answers. FYI in general to all. It seems that there are needle-free weight loss products on the market now. Research under the name: GLP-1
@lisalucier We don't know what weight loss med she was taking. Your inquiry 2 an 3: We told her to go straight to a neurologist who prescribed the Topomax, which she is still taking. I have not yet spoken with her about her conversations with her Neurologist. Have a safe holiday season.
