@jamessaxo Sounds like blaming the victim to me. I don't drink yet have suffered with neuropathy for years. Please don't overgeneralize. It doesn't help people who are suffering and doesn't undo the damage of neuropathy.

Are you takeing METHYLCOBALAMIN.
Seniors absorb less B12 because they have less stomach acid. I am 83 , take B12 and have no neuralgia now. Last year I suffered TRYGEMINAL neuralgia. Pain was terrible. On the internet I figured out how to fix.

@pamfitz Agreed, I've never consumed alcoholic beverages, or used illegal drugs, yet somehow I've been dealing with idiopathic poly neuropathy in my feet for over a decade.
