First of all are you on a nerve health specific diet? Try to eat the nerve health super foods often. Research the superf foods. Avacodos salmon, spinach, broccoli and tart cherries are some of them. More importantly is what not to eat. Like most sugars including sugar substitutes, I only use maple syrup rarely a little honey. Avoid unhealthy fats, especially oils. Try to only consume olive oil. If something uses a different oil make it yourself with olive oil (mayo, salad dressings,etc...) There's a lot more to it but it's basically a strict enhanced healthy diet. Lean protein, fat free dairy, whole grains, nuts and tons of fruits and vegetables. Nothing processed (avoid everything in a box or can). And obviously zero alcohol (the reason I have neuropathy). My diet has been my best medicine so far.

Thanks for your detailed suggestions.
I eat a clean diet and since July have chosen to eat Whole Food Plant Based exclusively which is no added sugar, no saturated fats, no meat fish dairy or alcohol. High in cruciferous veg and beans! Lots of tofu and lentils for protein!

@donhills2113 I’m not as stringent as you suggest but I eat quite healthy usually have spinach and avacodo and nuts around. But that doesn’t explain what happened. I have some neuropathy in my feet and legs and do take some gabapentin so I can live with that. I’m hoping the EMG helps get a diagnosis! Thanks for your comments. scared002
