@catsandbooks No the systemic Candida did not come back after the bout with it. As I indicated that was in the 80's after the 24/7 liquid antibiotic for the two pneumonias I had at the same time.
I have had one very short incident of having to be on an antibiotic after my hip replacement and did not have any indication, overall, that I again had the Candida.
One thing I did that also that helped clear the Candida was to stay away from high carbohydrates that convert to sugar easily and quickly. I also learned at that time the need to take prebiotics and probiotics to help correct the gut microbiome to help with one's overall health.
