@jasonl1012: Down the road I may have to have radiation on one, or both, of 2 remaining meningiomas. I found this article regarding cyber knife versus gamma knife a few years back when I was trying to decide between surgery or radiation for the optic nerve meningioma I did have removed. I thought I'd post in case you, or anyone else, may be interested.

With regard to the Summit Cancer Centers chart on cyber knife versus gamma knife I posted. It is stated that gamma knife is just a single, high dose treatment. That is no longer correct. One can have multiple treatments with gamma knife now. In fact, the radiation oncologist I consulted with 2 years ago (the doctor who oversees the stereotactic radiation procedure) said that there seems to be less side effects (nausea, tiredness) when the sessions are spaced out rather than one single dose.
