Many of us with a diagnosis of NETs need information on this rare form of cancer. In this discussion group, you will find links to the monthly NETs Support group, sponsored by the Mayo Clinic, which meets on the first Thursday of each month, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. EST. Other webinars, from reliable sources. will also be posted here. Learning together helps us all.

My youngest sister was dx'd with NET and is being followed and treated at the Jacksonville, Florida MAYO clinic facility and Oncology team . I am her oldest sister and am a Registered Nurse and have been following her, her providers and her treatments, scans, results, etc. Her Oncologist and his team have supported my FACETIME-ing into their in office meetings (I live in California- SFO Bay Area) which I greatly appreciate. If I am eligible, I would love to become a member of this particular NET support group. Thanks very much in advance. Susan Bumatay, RN, MSN

Hello @rodneysmom, I'd like to join @tomrennie in welcoming you to the NETs support group on Mayo Connect. It is wonderful that you are advocating for your sister by attending her appointments virtually. You are certainly welcome to be a part of this group.

If you could share a bit more about your sister's journey with NETs, other members with a similar diagnosis will be able to share with you. For example, how long ago was your sister diagnosed, and where are her NETs located? What type of treatments has she had so far, and how is she feeling?

Please let your sister know about Mayo Clinic's virtual NETs support group, which meets on the first Thursday of each month. The meetings originate at Mayo, in Jacksonville, FL. There are guest speakers and an opportunity to talk with other NETs patients.

We have many different discussion groups for the various types of NETs, and I would be glad to connect you with others when I learn more about your sister's diagnosis and treatment.
