Have they given you enough PT after hip surgery and in the meantime can you get a referral for a PT to work on stretching your leg tendon which may help your hip problem and pressure on the leg and hip???

@timely I'm in my 3rd round (2 to 3 times weekly for 6 weeks) of PT. Slowly it seems to be helping the IT band issues but the side of my leg where I had the hip replacement surgery is still numb.( except for where the IT band runs below and above the numbness) Also, I've managed to strain pretty badly my left ankle (opposite the side I had hip surgery on) tendon and I've had major problems with that ankle over the past 20 years after totally crushing it in an accident. (Following the major surgery it got badly infected with MRSA and over time I developed osteomyelitis which flares every once in a while) So, I've got more problems than just recovering from hip surgery; which actually the hip itself is doing fabulous; and spinal issues. Maybe someday I'll get some of this worked out where I feel much better for longer periods of time than my pain meds can last. But, I figure there are always those out there worse off than me!!! I am blessed.
