I have just started Repatha. My dose is 140 mg/ml every two weeks. My cardiologist wants to reduce my LDL to 70. I found I cannot tolerate the side effects of statins - tried several different varieties and doses. I joined to see how others are doing with this medication. I am also wondering if others have found taking the rx once a month instead of every two weeks is effective.

@desertdwellerjh I did the same thing. Couldn’t tolerate statins and tried Repatha. At first I thought it would be ok, but it proved as bad as statins. I tried red yeast, also had statin side effects. Tried plant sterols. No effect on my numbers. I am right now doing Terzepatide. I’ve been on it for about 3 months. After it’s been 6 months I’ll test again. I don’t have side effects, but I am very careful to eat healthy foods to prevent constipation.
