My doctors do not believe in hyperbaric treatment. Over 3 years, they let my jaw deteriorate and plate screws pop through my cheek. My second doctor just put me on antibiotics at my request before a minor surgery to clean out the infected jaw and to raise a drooping right lip. She says I may be on antibiotics the rest of my life to control the ORN. Any subsequent surgery will depend on the health of each remaining bone segment and the ORN.
